I've always had my dogs and cats in the house with me. Not living with me I
wouldn't feel complete. Sleeping in the same bedroom is so comforting. I
feel safe with them by me all of the time. I love a neat clean house. I just
vacuum & clean constantly. If I could've had my horses in the house too I
would've done that as well. The different things the dogs/cats do living
with us is so entertaining. Even coming out of the bathroom there they are
again waiting. When I lost my last shepherd Lily my house was dead as well.
Coming home to that empty house was the most depleting thing I've ever felt
after having shepherds for 43 years. It wasn't until I filled that house up
again with more shepherds did I feel alive & happy once again. Sure they're
a lot of work. What isn't a lot of work? But well worth paying the band for
ALL the music!
