I had a dog bloat and torsion many years ago. She had surgery and
recovered. Her stomach was huge.

It could be several things. Your dog could have aspirated some food in his
lungs and you should go to the Vet asap, it can cause a multitude of
problems. Did he choke on his food - did you see him eat?

Another cause could be kennel cough. I would also give him some Phayzyme
that gets rid of the gas, as a safety precaution in case he is on the way
to bloating.

Let us know how he's doing.
