It most certainly is an indorsement! It was their choices, voted on by them
to be on the ballot. What else would you call it? Names pulled out of a
hat.

I would hope that members would not look at it as an endorsement but vote for
the person that they think will represent them best as members and what they
want for this club. I think the nominating committee consist of 4 member and
the chairman. That is not much when you look at the total membership of the
PC. This is ONLY four people who nominated their friends and people they
wanted
on the ballot. And if I heard correctly one person on the nominating
committee did not get one of his nominees on the ballot. He was not in the
majority,
so if this is true then I guess you could just about say it was a 3 person
committee who nominated the people on the ballot. NOT MUCH compared to the
total
membership. Has nothing to do with what the total membership wants.
As was stated before I think they should do away with the nominating
committee and let ALL run by petition.
FOLKS look at your ballot closely with all the names and VOTE for the person
you think will represents you best.
Look at what has been done for you the member in the past and most
IMPORTANTLY VOTE.
