I just got word on Thursday evening that Lisa Howard, a long-time friend and
GSD breeder/competitor in Anderson, Indiana, passed away.  Lisa was the
owner of Champion Leebo's Yuma, a Stars 'n Stripes son,  and bred many good
German Shepherds.  The Fosters frequently showed dogs for her.  She will be
missed by me and Dottie Bowman because we had many good times together, both
at shows and at her her home where she was also an excellent cook.  Lisa
also spent a great deal of time mentoring young dog handlers and worked with
a 4-H group in Anderson.  Funeral services will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday,
August 16th at Robert D. Luce Funeral Home on 53rd St. in Anderson, Indiana
Rest in peace, my good friend.
