Don't you just hate it when your championship certificate comes from the  
parent club and it is wrinkled because they now send the championship pin 
with  it?  It has to be pressed to fit into the frame, and it is in two colors  
with the GSDCA red and black. Don't you feel it ruins the prestige of the 
win,  and somehow ruins the entire campaign, and takes away the joy of a new  
champion?
 
The answer is NO!  I am delighted to get my certificate from the AKC,  and 
about a week later, one from the GSDCA. Thanks to my parent club, and now I  
have a championship pin.  I don't think we ever asked for one before.
 
Can I give it to Summer without ruining her amateur standing?
 
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
