FYI, I am still trying to get a meeting with Ms. Pavley.? The only good number
for her is her Campaign manager.? I hope to meet with her soon so we can get a
better idea of where she stands on AB1634.

On Judges-L (and on a few other lists), a post has given the name of the
politician running against Lloyd Levine in the
California State Senate #23 primary. You will all remember that Levine is the
person who presented California AB1634, calling for mandatory spay/neutering of
dogs in California. His opponent is Fran Pavley, she has done guide dog work
according to her biography. The writer of the post, who asked to remain
anonymous but whose name has been given on lists other than Judges-L, has
talked
to Ms. Pavley, and she does not appear to support this bill.
Ms. Pavley's website ( www.franpavley.com ) has a link that will enable you
to
donate to her campaign if you are interested. Mr. Levine withdrew AB1634 for
now, but could re-introduce it next year--hopefully he won't be in office at
that time. Some of the judges have emailed Mr. Levine's office telling them of
their donation to Ms. Pavley's campaign and why.
