What a TERRIFIC idea!!
Perhaps we should brainstorm what should be included in such leaflets. Most
of the general public has no idea how to find reputable breeders.
Regional clubs could distribute these leaflets to members who could then
distribute to vets, feed stores, and pet stores that don't sell puppies.
Or perhaps the GSDCA could facilitate a leaflet to go to all its regional
clubs as well as to other breed clubs. The template could be made available
on the website for downloading, and regional clubs could adapt to their
geographic area.
This might help ameliorate the damage the Hunte decision has caused the
GSDCA reputation as well as put a dent in pet-store sales of puppies.
I volunteer my editing services to anyone who wants to put such a leaflet
together.
