Penny, It is one way that the food companies get away with saying "grain
free".
In the meantime they are adding phyto estrogen containing ingredients like
chickpeas, etc,
that often can impact hormonal cycles and fertility. People buy "grain
free" believing they
are cutting out or back on carbs in the food, only to have been duped by
companies using other
sources, potentially more problematic, than grains.
