And the dog I took last year was fine. I got lucky and was able to share a
space for just the one crate, Cindy would need her own to be sure, but the dogs
might just be fine. Walk them every 3 hours and plan to skip the lister party
so you can spend most evenings with them. If you can bring 14 crates so you
have a set to travel around town and a set for the show site, you would be set!
I plan to keep dogs loose in the van as needed, they do fine, and crates at
the show.
They will not be left alone in the room, and they will sleep loose there.

nationals? The dogs will have to either be in crates at the hotel or you will
rent a stall and keep them in crates in the stall for the whole week. I know
when I went with one dog it was stressful for the dog and lots of extra work.
Thats alot of walking dogs with 7 dogs! Maybe you've been to the national with
dogs before and it isn't a problem. If you haven't then you need to realize
that if you want to watch the national you won't be able to have your dog (s)
in the stands with you the whole time. I know my dog hated being crated for so
long. Something to consider ...

"I really don't have the option to board dogs...it's just too expensive and I
have too many dogs, but I am in the same predicament....what to do with the
dogs when I leave. Last weekend I had my neice stay at my house when I went
to a Specialty. She just got her license and with a house full of GSD's my
sister wasn't too worried about her staying there by herself.
Problem is, she wants to go to the National with me, so I may be
traveling with all seven dogs to the National. What is the view on having a
breed besides a shepherd there. Will anyone complain? One is a Siberian
Husky.
