like professional basketball or baseball where you put on the best show you
can, so people pay to watch.
I can't imagine anyone paying to watch a dog show. We are a competition and
social event. In order to become a spectator sport we would have to find
spectators. Maybe the World Trials will bring them out.
I was told there will be an entrace fee to watch the World Trials. That
didn't work with the GSDCA, although we used to charge to get into the
Nationals. If you were a club member you had to show your membership card to
get
into the building and we had a cash register at the front gate. At least we
found a use for the card.
I haven't seen mine in years. I think I have one.
