All of the above are very important.  If someone was demanding our prior BOD
or executive committee give answers NOW to the membership; then changing tunes
after the new election and saying to trust the board in closed session is
playing both sides of the fence. The prior board was not disclosing to your
liking, yet it is okay for the new board to do this is not sensible. ??? huh?

I certainly can understand we have brand new board members who need time to
transition in.  I would never suggest that they are walking in with the
knowledge they need to move forward.  I do believe we need to give them time
to acclimate to the many interests and concerns of our club.

I do find it frustrating that some have not actually read the lawsuit; they
have strong opinions without educating themselves.  I certainly hope ego's get
put aside and we settle this for the good of The GSDCA.  I DO NOT condone
the lawsuit, but it seems a solution has been put forth with no
further monetary impact to our club.  This lawsuit has been ongoing for
years.  Hopefully; the new board can find a way to put this behind our club. I
believe many are sensitive to closed sessions;  after reading the lawsuit it
became evident that actions of a few can harm our club.

With regard to finances; many accusations-innuendo's- truths- and falsehoods
have been thrown out.  I believe part of the problem is the "need" to protect
a few, whether the intentions were purposeful or not. I think most of us are
anxious to get a current status on the true financial picture of our club.
We all want to know where the funds have been spent and what is
missing-allocated-invested.  Balance sheets, P & L, - all current will give us
insight as to the future of the club.

It sounded like the National was enjoyed by everyone.  For many months prior
people screamed about Salt lake City, yet everything I read was positive about
the site except a major problem- getting flights that would take dogs.
Unfortunately a dog was harmed,  fellow exhibitor (s) were accused of doing a
horrible act, and people/owners were hurt.

I hope common sense pervails and we end the law suit for one reason:  The good
of The GSDCA.

I hope the budget and finance committee gets their arms around our financial
picture and future for one reason: The good of The GSDCA.

I hope our new board will be less secretive and inform the membership of
actions for one reason:  The good of The GSDCA.
