take a look at the Golden National's website -

It is almost as hard to travel with a Golden as a GSD.

If it is just the economy, then how do you explain the nearly 800 dogs entered
in the Golden National this year as compared with our national entry. Both were
held in out of the way places and both groups are subject to the same economic
conditions.
