I thought Mary Carillo handled it far better than the guys who have been there
before. She is not a dog show person but looks at it like the public does. She
is smart, sensible and has a good sense of humor - something that many former
commentators were seriously lacking.

I am reading all the comments about the lady commentator and with the exception
of her voice (which I cannot stand), I didn't think it was so bad...
Considering some of the people that poor David has had to deal with in the
past, I think this was an improvement. And I give him a lot of credit - he
manages all those situations quite well and doesn't loose a step very often.
And.... You guys all forget that those of us who are show folks are a small
minority of who is actually watching..... Most of the people that are watching
are pet folks who would have all the same observations as the lady
commentator... JMHO...
Some years ago, DCA didn't like what David was saying about Dals - so I got in
touch with him and we sent him some new revamped stuff... Now they don't talk
about the dals at all :-) Not a bad thing.. We'll let dogs like Tanner be the
representative for our breed with happy wagging tails and a kiss for the judge.
