California... Colorado... New Mexico.... three states I will never visit, do
business in, show in or sell a dog to.....
How many more before the dog fancy stands up and says ENOUGH??

The La Junta City Council voted to pass BSL last night.
I warned both Councilman Martin and Mayor Rizzuto that passing BSL
would bring a negative image to their city. They were offered reason
and help, but they chose to ignore it. The Mayor claimed he had no
idea who Kory Nelson was, but then again, he also told me he didn't
think it would pass. Ultimately, I found them to be very arrogant
and unwilling to listen.
Everyone, please get the word out. Send it to all the anti-BSL sites
you know. Rather than having a line under it, the City of La Junta,
CO now has a line (through it). La Junta has willfully chosen to
vote itself into the (unfriendly to families and pet owners)
category. The Councilmembers that voted for it also need to be
listed as pro-animal rightist, because that is what they supported.
La Junta, Colorado is now "Denver-approved".
