Most breeders sell their PETS (NON BREEDABLE) with limited registration.
If you do not issue AKC papers people can get a number to compete in
Performance - many rescue dogs are competing with these numbers. You fill=
out
a form certifying that your dog is PURE BRED and send in 2 pix, and they g=
ive you
a number.
Many performance people buy breedable dogs/bitches.
