How's it going, eh
Our Ch Casino is a born show dog. She was born and lived her entire life in
the house. She usually sleeps on the couch or on the bed in the spare room
(unless her grooming table is set up and then she sleeps on that) except for
the time she fell into the open ceptic tank, but that's another story.
She loves the show ring, both Specialty and All breed.
Her usual house mate Trapper, who has been with her almost since birth,
hates it. Although he finished up here in 3 weekends, winning both All breed
groups and Specialty BOB, he did not want to be there. If we load up the van
and reach for a lead, he will go and find a place to hide.
Go figure.
Also we don't have much of a coat problem up here in the great white North.
Keep your stick on the ice.

I'm with you Colleen. I don't believe a dog should need to be kenneled to
show well. And, if you do double, the dog should want to get to you ALL the
time, not just because you kenneled it and, in part, separated yourself from
it.
Doesn't matter what time of hte day it is, or where it is, Strauss wants to
be with me, kenneled or not.
