A friend of mine with Australian shepherds keeps her dogs in a "dog room" at
night that has all the heat vents turned off and the window cracked open. The
temp averages about 40 degrees. She swears that this gives them better coats.
Mine are indoor/outdoor dogs.....I try to leave them out as much as possible
during the day but they always come in at night.
