[ SHOWGSD-L ] Katrina - need some help in Alex.

I just talked to some people on the phone. They are in a hotel here in Alex.
They have 3 large GSD's. The man has had a stroke and now has some disability
issues. They have lost everything except what they have with them. They need
to place these dogs. They do not want to do it, but life seems pretty hopeless
right now. :(
So, here is their information....
1) b/t male, 5 y.o., intact
2) black female, 4 y.o., spayed
3) b/t male, 2.5 y.o., intact (puppy of the above two)
All have some training, are well socialized, and current on all meds (taking
Heartgard and Frontline).
IF at all possible, they would like to find a foster home so they can have some
hope of getting the dogs back when they get their feet on the ground. OR
possibly, just get the female back as he thinks she would make a good
assistance dog for him. OR, if need be, just find good homes for them.
