With the addition of online connections, the DCA Spotter is holding it's
own in the market place. People still like the hard copy, but we also have
it online and promote it on FB - when a new issue comes out or is up on the
DCA website, someone posts the link on FB. And the advertisers get much
more bang for the buck :-)
Too many people still like hard copy versions of the breed club magazines.
There will always be a place - its just a case of taking the bull by the
horns. Also a case of the membership becoming flexible enough to handle
change (putting the Review online and letting it be promoted on FB would be an
excellent place to start).
Time to make the GSDCA a multi-media club, not just a one trick pony!
