THANK YOU Helen!! I for one love to hear about these types of acts that often
go unnoticed
in our circle of show people involved in this sport.
SO OFTEN we hear people tell everyone how truly horrible the show people are
and how badly
they were treated by "all" the conformation people and they quit showing this
great breed because
of the behavior of some.
It is really too bad these people who judged an entire group of people involved
in this Breed by the
poor behavior of a few left.....and they never got a chance to meet the really
great people with great
heart that we are all surrounded by. Their LOSS! HOOOORAY for the GOOD
people!!

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] KINDNESS
Back in the mid-seventies, I was selling my German Shepherd Dog jewelry
at the Nationals. Wanting to set-up before anyone started arriving,
it was about 630 a.m. in the morning and I was exhausted from attending
meetings the night before. Every part of me ached and I must have looked
it because this very tall, very kind man I never met came over to me and
said...."I brought you coffee and breakfast, you look like you need it!" That's
when I first met DAVE RINKE. It was the show in New York I believe.
