So I lost my beautiful boy to bloat on Saturday night, In all theae years of
having dogs, I never actually had one bloat right in front of me. I knew right
away that would be the end for him...Too young and too full of life and love to
pass,, but he did.
The house is more empty than anyone can imagine ,, it will take me a long
time to get over this one... Because only once in awile do we come across a
perfect match,, an animal that touches our hearts in places no one else can
reach,,,, that special bond, that cant be broken no matter how many times they
howl or dig up the lawn,, Keno was that dog.....The best thing about him was
how much he loved me,,, and that , nothing can replace....For the first time in
my dog history I have no other wagging tails to console me....He was the last
one....I miss him very much already......
I want everyone to know what Emily did for that dog....I got myself to a place
where I didnt know if I would be able to care for my dogs, Keno and Roulette,
and needed a place for them to go for awile till I could find a home to bring
them to.. I had several offers.
The first time I went to Brown Hill, there was something about it...I know for
fact that I said outloud "If I were a dog I would want to live here."
It had a warm homey feel to it complete with an array of farm animals,, the
dogs looked happy and well cared for and Emily had a calm way with them.. I
knew Keno would be safe with her....She loved him as her own and words cannot
describe my gratitude to her....She kept her word and took care of both of them
,,,but not only took care of them but loved them in my absence....So Thank you
Emily from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my boy..;...
I was lucky enough to be able to give Keno what he wanted ,,,to be with me and
the last year with him was wonderful....I miss you Kenoman..
