[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: Just learned this BBE move to Open?

Evidently this has always (or at least, not new) been the rule. Has there been
a recent change that the dogs can be moved into different classes after the
entries close? (I used to dig down deep into the rules and memorize the rules,
but that was years ago)
I know some move-ups are usual and normal
like moving the Class dog from
Novice to a regular class after the 3 blue ribbons, and from regular classes to
Breed after the 15th point
but can you change, after the close of entries
from, say, Am Bred to Open? Or vice Versa?
Is there some benefit (handler effect?)
