I feel it is important to give "small sized" gifts that will fit into the suitcase. Having been given very large glass ones, I ended up giving them to a club member rather then attempt to hand carry on the airplane. I always like things that are representative of the state or area. I've received Inuit carvings from Canada, Indian Jewelry from Arizona and such. I think it has extra meaning when it represents either the Club or the location. Recently I received a beautiful pendant of a shepherd in motion that one of the club member makes. Just loved it! Anyway, that's just my opinion, but I do again want to emphasize "small" for those on airplanes.
