To quell rumors let me explain why I went on the Emeritus program.
In mid November I started blacking out and falling to the ground. The
doctor that I was seeing had no explanation. At the time of the
AKC/Eukanuba
show in Long Beach I felt terrible. Did a lot of praying, accepting
assistance
from family and others to get me
through the evening.
Since then I have spent time in the hospital.
As a result I am diagnosed as having Lung, lymph node and bone
cancer,along with Congestive Heart Failure. I am being treated for
all, but the bone cancer and Heart failure are classed as incurable.
I am unable to travel, very unsteady on my feet, very dizzy at times. I
have given up driving. I have accepted the consequences, made
Peace with God, and I am ready when He is
.
Thank you all for the vast numbers of cards,calls and other messages.
There is no way that I could reply to all.
I HAVE LOVED THE DOGS, THE DOG SHOWS AND THE PEOPLE.
In my physical condition I could not do justice to the judging.
I love you all and wish for the AKC's future.

I made this announcement to the list some time ago,clarifying that he was
not "OUR" Bob Moore. Since then I have kept tract of him through our
Kathleen Steen,who visits him several times per week,along with Don Jones.
His
message says it all, He really loved to judge GSDs though he got cranky in
latter years and wouldn't allow liver or bait throwing in his ring.or
double handling. As I said before he finished my litter brother/sister team
