And isn't there a higher risk for other types of cancers when spayed early? In 40-45 years of raising GSD's I have had, 1 case of mamory cancer. Caught is early, removed it, not chemo or any treatement at 7 years of age. This dog lived to just shy of 14 and cancer was not what go her. She had 4 litters and was spayed when we found the tunor at 7... So the risk is pretty small in my experiance. Deb **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money & Finance.
