Joan (and anyone else having this problem),
Try adjusting your line length. Until I did this, I too was
getting everything with the weird numbers, letters and
characters as well as line breaks where they shouldn't be --
especially when quoting. I solved the problem (I *think* -
fingers crossed) by reducing the number of characters per
line allowed when posting. Previously, I had been using 72
characters per line. I'm now down to 60 per line and it
seems to be going well (again... fingers crossed).
