When I was on the board I reacted to the vast and
time filling agenda. I still do. Endless reports,
regular updates and other required things creates
a process in which the participants are tired to
death by the second day.
I still contend that this needs to be shortened,
reports not requiring action should be submitted
in writing far enough in advance so they can be
approved and files within a few minutes, and there
has to be some time to construct the future of our
breed and the future of the club.
Brainstorming sessions are the essence of
progress, but with this packed agenda there is no
time, no energy and ooops, have to get out of here
now, my plane leaves in 20 minutes.
