Hello, the OG New England GSDC, Inc
is in need of donations for our junior handling workshop.
On Sunday, May 10. 2009, we are hosting a Breed Show with SV Judge Ansgar
Kartheiser of kennel "vom Langenbungert". Herr Kartheiser is coming to
judge for the first time in the USA. His idea of the German Shepherd Dog is
the total dog.
We are excited to bring Herr Kartheiser to the USA not only as a judge,
but as a teacher of the breed. Because of his expectations that the German
Shepherd Dog must remain a working dog, we are honored to have him teach our
Juniors about the breed and sport and we will be hosting two workshops for
the juniors. One will be Saturday, May 9th 2009, running with the adult
session, and then, in the breed ring on Sunday, May 10th 2009, during half
time of our breed show.
We need your support by entering your Junior and/or donations for prizes
we are providing for the kids. Last show, due to generous money donations
we were able to provide the children with leashes from Germany, t-shirts, &
large trophies as a memory. This year we hope to provide them with training
gear too, and we can't do it without your help! If you cannot donate
money, please consider donating items for our Junior Raffle, where proceeds
from this raffle are going to the WDA-NASS Junior Handling fund.
WE NEED EVERYONES SUPPORT, the Juniors are our future!!!!!!
JUNIORS need to PRE ENTER for Sundays Breed Show.
We need an RSVP by email for the Saturday Workshop.

To get to know more about Herr Kartheiser here is a little bit about him:
In the beginning Herr Ansgar Kartheiser only trained and worked dogs for
Schutzhund-trials. Later he started to show his dogs first at regional shows,
LG-Shows and then Siegershows.
German Shepherds from his kennel â?? vom Langenbungertâ?? have placed top in
many working trials and shows, at the German Championships for working-dogs
as well as Siegershows.
Herr Kartheiser himself was very successful showing his dogs in
Working-Championships and Siegershows in and outside of Germany. Many dogs
from his
kennel earned top-placements and VA-titles all over the world. He has been
a competitor in the Bundessiegerprüfung and in 2003, his female â?? Biggi
vom Langenbungertâ?? placed VA 5 at the Sieger zuchtschau in Ulm.
As a border-control-official he was involved very deeply in working dogs
and handled himself 3 narcotic-dogs on duty.
Because of being successful as a handler in working-trials he received
from the SV in the year 1995 the badge of honor in â??Goldâ?? and in 1997 the
badge of honor in â?? Gold with Diamondsâ??. One year later in 1998 he
received
the Merit Badge in â??Silverâ??. The conditions for the Breeder-badge in
â??Gold
â?? he met in the year 2003.
Herr Kartheiser has been President of the OG Trier since 1998 as well as a
member of the board of the Landesgruppe 10 (Rheinland-Pfalz). Since 2005
he is state-breed-warden of the Landesgruppe 10 and a member of the
breeding-committee of the SV.
Herr Kartheiser was acknowledged as an SV-conformation-Judge in 2005.
Ansgar Kartheiser is recognized all over the world as an expert for German
Shepherds and is known for his opinion and view that German Shepherd dogs
have to be working dogs.

and Breed Show on May 10th.
