Have you ever noticed how common it has become for people to put JMHO

my humble opinion) at the end of their posts? Drives me up the wall.
Since
they have written the post, I pretty much assume that it is THEIR
opinion,
not their Uncle Louie's opinion. If their Uncle Louie thinks it, I
figure
they'd mention that. Then they tell me it's their HUMBLE opinion. Why
does
everyone have to be so HUMBLE? I'd rather have someone say, "In my
ARROGANT
opinion." Shows more panache. And how about LMAO and its big
brother
ROTFLMAO? I want List administrators to require everyone to install
web
cams so that we can verify that all these merry jokesters are really
doing
all this ROTFLMAOing that they say they're doing. Next, all the use of
<G>
and <VBG> in posts (grin and very big grin) gets kind of tiresome, and
what's more it too is unverifiable. I get this mental picture of a
bunch of
Looney Tunes grinning oddly into their computer screens. Do I need an
image
like that in my brain? As Sarah Palin might say (many times), "Thanks,
but
no thanks." Finally, could we please be more specific about "The Happy
Dance"? I love to hear good news, and really do take joy in the
happiness
of others, but what exactly IS "The Happy Dance"? Is it like Zorba the
Greek? M.C. Hammer? Chubby Checker? Michael Jackson in "Thriller"?
Fred
Astaire and Ginger Rogers? "River Dance"? If we all had web cams we
could
see once and for all what everyone's version of "The Happy Dance"
looks
like.
Thanks in advance to all for considering my request for more
restraint in these areas. After all <VBG>, it's JMHO, and I assure
you, I'm
