I'm not trying to be snappy but simply.......the number of champs means
nothing to me it's the quality. Anyone with the money can finish mega
amounts of mediocre dogs, but i would rather know who produces excellent
quality few champions than mega amounts

We have a way to judge that in the ROM system. Successful breeding programs
will yield both Champions of Record and also Register of Merit sires and
dams.
I jokingly say you can't have one without the other and that's true. That
said, I always feel a bit of extra pride when you receive the prestigious
ROM award.
