Dry spells are rare in the swampland, need to keep the alligators happy!
Your superb notation on the smell of a wet dog reminds me of the movie
ANNIE (original) when Daddy Warbucks walks in as the rescued dog
is being washed --- It's a "distinctive" fragrance for sure -- He asked,
"Why do I smell wet dog?" To the dogs it's not "awful" tho! Norma no L

All's well here in Tucson this morning. I woke up to RAIN,
HONEST-TO-GOODNESS, and lots of it. And, naturally, the dogs had a great
time rolling in the wet grass (and mud) and bringing all this mess back
inside. But we are all happy now - except for the smell. Don't dogs smell
awful when they are wet? Lee F.
