I think the point that is being missed is that the team represents the
United States of America, The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, and the
German Shepherd Dog in the United States. The team wears a red, white & blue
uniform and when they stand on the podium they stand under OUR Flag. They
are not campaigning their own dogs for any gain other than for the German
Shepherd Dog Club of America. They, as a team, represent us. Am I proud
when they stand under our flag, yes I am and you should be also.

Can I get the GSDCA to send me and Magic Marker to the National to compete

club, after all, they are showcasing the dogs.
I would be willing to pay my own motels and meals and would only request
the parent club to pay the air fare and cost of sending the dog.
I need to give this more thought.
