It was a lot of work, but I have gotten it all coordinated. We will be
providing a THANK YOU to our board by hosting a Casino Night at the board
meeting on the 29th. I have arranged for professional dealers and tables to
be
set up for everyone to enjoy.
This is open to anyone who loves a German shepherd, and is free. Everyone
will be given some chips to gamble with, and then at the end of the
evening if you have any chips left, they can be used to buy gifts. There will
be
no money involved, it is to thank our board for the hard work and dedication
they put in.
Right now I have arranged for a craps table, and two black-jack tables. I
might want to add another table, and I turned down a roulette wheel. The
black-jack tables take eight each and the craps table 17. I arranged for
two black-jack tables, but if I hear enough people will be here, I will get
another.
There will be professional dealers to explain the games and how to play,
and I plan to deal for a while myself.
Plan to come to the board meeting, plan to enjoy watching our board in
action, learn an even faster way to lose money than showing dogs, and plan to
have a great time Saturday evening.
If Zoe agrees, pass this on, and tell everyone you can. It is the
California German shepherd club's way of saying Well Done, and Thanks.
