FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS!
 
The board can only vote on what they know.  Often they are put in a  
position to vote on something without time to understand the facts.  That  
causes 
a lot of trouble. And, Molly is right, a club may not vote to indemnify  
people who are responsible for damages to the club. 
 
The insurance company is not liable for intentional acts by the insurred.  
That is why they "reserve their rights", and may deny damages if what is 
alleged  is found to be an intentional act by some individuals.
 
Law is simple. That is why I do it.
