Giselda, forgive me, but I have lost the problem with you dog in the midst of several hundred emails recently. I have a question. Is this one of those "tank" type swimming sessions, with the water coming at the dog as he is paddling forward? I have heard so much good news about that therapy, especially with DM dogs, but also dogs with spine problems. I had him at his first Swimming therapy lesson today and I am pleased to say, it was so darned EXCITING!!!!!!!! I came away, after talking with owners of geriatric, crippled dogs and have a much better perspective on what to expect in this therapy. He did amazing, even though he almost drowned. The instructor put an under water camera in the pool so I could see hiim move. He was amazing...I am hopeful for him to make some type of decent recovery so I can have him around for a while longer. He is in no pain and I think his next lesson will be more relaxed for him on thursday. I am so excited!
