I bred my German bitch to an American male to correct her head :0) Her head was
narrow. I bred to an American dog to get shorter hocks :0)

Or not.
I can't count the number of people who think breeding is a science. If
you take this to that, you get this and that. There is no way to know what
you will get, except to look at what the dogs have produced before.
While I hope Ed is right, and does get what he wants, I feel the same about
every breeding.
A larger gene pool will give us more variables, but less certainty in the
breeding. That may be a good thing, or not.
