Oh good grief.. what in Dog's name is wrong with buying a dog (or
coownership on) you like just because you are a judge?! People are getting
ridiculous.
How many have gone to a dog show and bred to or bought a dog (or offspring
of) because they liked what they saw at the show? Why would you expect it
to be any different because someone is a judge??? I don't get this. I
would HOPE our judges would be doing so.
If you want a judge with NO ties to anybody in GSDs show at all breed shows
under all breed judges that have never even owned, let alone bred, a GSD.

Yes I did put up Tacoma and 5 mos later bought co-ownership in a good dog,
that I absoultely loved.
Not the first judge to buy a dog that was shown to them. After all that's
what we are suppose tobe doing
trying to breed better dogs. Never saw the dog before the show or the
handler. I never did anything
wrong in this situation and got critized for something many other judges
have done. Not there is anything
wrong with that as Evan says. We have bought many dogs over the years and
finished 55 of them.
I believe that should show I have a good eye. I also put up many selects
over the yeas that have made
quite a name for themselves.
