You know, I have been showing dogs for a long, long time and have seen and
heard of a lot of things happened (best one was a long time GSD breeder become
judge being paid off by a handler so he could finish a 5 year old Doberman -
and I know it's true because I heard it both from the handler and the owner of
the new champion Dobe).
Anyhoo, I am very aware of what goes on at shows and you know, I really have a
tough time with folks showing to people they have handled for within the last
month. I have - I don't care if it is Canada or the US.. Somehow people's
ethics have gotten screwed up a long the way and it really bothers me a lot...
Heck, I don't show to people I have handled for ever - makes everyone
uncomfortable... But I do understand that isn't possible in GSDs.
However, Carolyn is right (as usual) that the CKC doesn't give hooey about the
AKC shows and vice versa...
Life goes on and all we can do is behave ourselves and take care of our own
little corner of the world.
