[ SHOWGSD-L ] Internet manners (was Old Posts)

I had to sign on the computer today because the emails I DID want were
bouncing because there was all these unwanted emails sent to my account.
I am now getting emails from Zappo.com.....a company I have never done
business with, but now I will have to unsubscribe from their list, because my
email was sent to them, along with the list email and many other listers.
And the same for some other companies. How did they get my email, and why
are they getting List mail? they sell clothing (I checked this morning) not
GSD's..................who sponsored Zappo?? LOL
Many don't know how they got there (me included). Is this considered spam?
Stop responding or respond only to the person who emailed you directly.
Maybe then we can stop the insanity.
