You know, the problem right now in most breeds is the Popular Sire syndrome and
people are inbreeding on dogs without even thinking about it. There are sires
in both breeds that I have that are in too many people's pedigrees, too many
times. So now we have new people breeding descendents of these dogs together
not knowing anything.
I know what true inbreeding is (and I know that is what you are talking about),
but think about some of the current GSD pedigrees - that's as close as it gets
without being father/daughter, etc.
