[ SHOWGSD-L ] Important stud dog question

Hi,
I have a co owned male that has sired 3 or 4 litters but his last one missed. A
few days after breeding the last bitch he started leg lifting in one spot of
their house. It went on for a few weeks with the vet thinking separation
anxiety.recently it turned into him leaking some urine even when sleeping. This
time she had him to the vet, he told her he had a prostae infection an had to
be neutered right away! Im pretty sure I know the answer, but has anyone ever
had a dog with this and if so how was it treated & did he sire anymore babies?
