I don't think Hektor Linksrhein was a German shepherd or even a Schufferhund. I don't know what he was, but maybe he was a Shiloh Shepherd. Or perhaps some older breed, like perhaps a Xilo. And, whoever Horand was bred to, (I do remember the bitches name), was probably something other than a German shepherd, since the registry didn't exist prior to the breeding. I should remember this stuff, but I think it might have been before I was active in showing.
