[ SHOWGSD-L ] I'm tired of the bashing.... and deleting

Has anyone considered that the reason that we made a more money at the
Colorado National is that the Officers and Board worked their tails off
along with the local club in Colorado to get donations, volunteers and hours
of work behind the scenes to make it a success and make it profitable?
Maybe it wasn't driven by the location? Maybe it was driven by hard
working, dedicated people? And how were they rewarded.... I think we all
know the answer... most of the officers and board members received a nice
package of paper served to them at the show. How's that for recognition?
Oh wait, I'm sure THEY had nothing to do with the success of the event... it
had to be the location.
Now what I'm hearing is that it was our most "successful, profitable"
national. And it's because of location. Does anyone remember the Saturday
night dinner in Colorado and all of the work put in to it? How about the
nice gifts that all of the members were able to take home? Pretty good meal
too!
I'd be interested in knowing what the break down is on actual dogs shown
from the Utah National and where they all came from. What percentage from
East, Midwest and West.
