I don't think they plan to do that. They copied a Missouri law (note the
drafter of the proposed ordinance is from Missouri)...bsl is illegal in
Illinois, so the ordinance can't be enacted.
I think it's been defeated already...but we have to stay on our toes
because this kind of thing (and more) is being proposed EVERYWHERE in the
country. Some proposals say "potentially dangerous dogs," and they don't
even define that term...which is REALLY frightening!
