Let me second that....it is a great event.....great food, great people and a
GREAT silent and live auction. Several people on the list have contributed
items for the silent auction. If you are not a golfer, you can just attend the
dinner, silent and live auction.
We also have a raffle. Raffle tickets are $20 each and first prize is a
crossing on the Queen Mary 2; second prize is a lap top computer - PC or Apple
and
third prize is a $1000 jewelry gift certificate. You do not have to be
present to win so if anyone is interested in purchasing a raffle ticket,
contact me
at the above email.
This rescue group does an amazing job. They started out as part of the
Diablo Valley German Shepherd Dog Club and eventually went on to form their own
independent rescue non-profit organization covering a very large area in
Northern
and Central California. They have been in existence since 1991 and have
rescued over 1200 homeless German Shepherd Dogs.
