I'm way behind on reading posts, so someone might have already mentioned the website called "The Dog Food Project." The author is a nutritionist. I've found a wealth of information on this website. Here's a link to one of the articles I especially like -- "Identifying Better Products." http://www.dogfoodproject.com/index.php?page=betterproducts The "Identifying Better Products" article can be downloaded and printed out in booklet form to be handed out to puppy buyers or other interested parties. One the left hand side of the website, you'll see links to many topics. Like "Five Star Foods" which talks about the common fallacies of dog food reviews. This article is great! Or, "The Yuck Factor" which addresses "byproducts" and other questionable "generic" ingredients. Or, "Is Too Much Protein Harmful." Anyhow, since we were discussing dog foods, I thought I'd mention this website. As with anything one reads, don't take it as the gospel, but research, research, and then research some more.
