We kept finding all these pecan shells in the garage, (we had a BUMPER crop last year) and I had 3 BIG bags of the dadgum things in the garage, that have now been pitched. Then I saw the reason.....jumped OUT of my skin, it's a RAT! Set the rat traps with peanut butter and some how it is able to snack and not get it's little neck broke...even though those things have a hair trigger. Then I saw the sucker again, I swear the thing was grinning at me! This time I put shredded cheese around the traps, hoping that would send him into a feeding frenzy..........by, now the thing could probably be a spokesrat for Jenny Craig, just like the HOARDS of squirrels that dine at La' Mo's pecan trees! Well, the sucker ate the cheese around the traps and still has a neck in one piece. NOW, I got smart and loaded the trigger with a small mound of cheese. I SWEAR if that thing isn't DEAD by tonight, I am going to move! To make it dog related the dog food is out there in a Rubbermaid trash can!
