There is little difference. The key is how the standards are interpreted.
In the FCI shows for so many years they have promoted a different type of
German shepherd. We in America have interpreted our standard to reward a
bitch like Rumor. It would be difficult to say who is right.
We each have our standard and we interpreted it the way we do. It is up
to each judge to decide what is correct. I have seen the FCI style dog
shown at some of our AKC shows. They don't do well. So, we should not be
surprised that Crufts feels that way.
Rubens like a very different woman style.
