How would you know what NY needs, we have had 9/11 the twin towers being
blown up, devastating, still recovering, we just had Sandy with the train
system under water etc. so much damage, you can not imagine, Long Island , on
the south shore, people do not have electric, homes are gone and the
government is not sending help, insurance companies are not coming through
with
the insurance claims that people have paid over a decade and some more so.
We also had hurricane Irene, where the upstate area is not recovered, whole
towns washed away.
Now we just had a mega snow storm, and I am not recovered from 3 days of
shoveling, the Long Island Expressway shut down for three days with
hundreds of cars still under mega feet of snow. Don't know when it will be
fully
opened maybe today, that means people do not get to work.
Who are you to say that "NY doesn't need the income", this is not a rich
state, and Westminster has been holding their show here for over 100 years.
and some people do read the NY Times (not me) but others do.
Maybe before you make a statement you could take a moment and think.
and don't blame the city of New York, because of a two-bit reporter.
