When I went to get my AZ license I had to send away for my original state
certified birth certificate to prove I was a native. They do this because I am
Oregon born and Oregon is considered a haven state for illegals. You may get a
drivers license with just 2 pieces of mail for proof of address. When you get
your divers license you also register to vote. There are more illegals in
Oregon
than AZ I am sure. In Madras Oregon all the signs in the down town area are in
Spanish.

In Arizona: I lost my drivers license - maybe some illegal is driving around
with a mug face of an old woman - LOL - I went and filled out a form, was
called for a new picture which looked worse than the last one. I was out
within 20 minutes with my new license. Go figure.

and in California (the land of... well.... ), all I had to do was turn
in my old license and give them a thumb print (those are really neat
new machines!), take a written test, get my pic taken and in a few
months (o.k., they said a few weeks :), but California is broke and is
now slow as molasses) , my license will be mailed to me.
